Will someone please explain why the fuel surcharges put in place inflicted by airlines when crude was $140+ still remain in place today? (Crude @ $44)

  1. Anannya Deb

And most importantly, the two big private airlines collected fuel surcharges separately from the fare and have yet to pay the oil companies. Logical extension – they took money for fuel and spent it on new dresses for the crew. So now they hike up fares, increase fuel surcharge and essentially are on the road to killing themselves

  2. Good point. So they are not just customer-unfriendly; they are also cheats & crooks :)
