Start of the Decline

When do you know an organization's glory days are over?

Is it when the buzz-words take over? Or is it when the consultants (vultures?!) start swarming?

Or is it when the 1% seniormost managers earn more than the 80% staff combined?

Or is it when the next month/quarter/year is more important than building long-term fortitude, resilience & values?

I personally think it is when the "processes" become more important than the "people".

What do you think?
