QOTD – 07June – Woodrow Wilson

07 Jun

Via Carmine Coyote, from Srikumar Rao’s “Are You Ready to Succeed? Unconventional Strategies to Achieving Personal Mastery in Business and Life, comes this quote by Woodrow Wilson:

We are not here merely to earn a living and to create value for our shareholders. We are here to enrich the world and make it a finer place to live. We will impoverish ourselves if we fail to do so.

Another great quote by Woodrow Wilson (from Wikiquote):

We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who hope that their dreams will come true.

There we go, read the “spiel” and downloaded WordPress. This is my first attempt and oddly enough the first blog I am leaving a comment on!!
I use Frontpage and will host on my ISP, got the Blogger top on it at mo as thought might help^with spiders etc?

What I initially wanted to know was where to post/announce/advertise that you have such an animal??

Check out my first attempt and please, I welcome honest feedback, no matter how bad!!
    Regards

Andy: usually the spiders will find you anyway! Given that you have blogger top on your blog, google now knows about you! You could try technorati as well!
